This very short lane is extremely easy going due to a crushed brick and gravel surface at it's eastern end, which later turns to compacted dirt. Indeed it's more like a badly made driveway as opposed to a greenlane! There are some sizeable potholes in places, but is otherwise unremarkable. One could indeed drive a Ford Fiesta down it and not be overly troubled. With no view to report, and no points of interest, Green Lane West is really not worth the bother of driving unless you have a reason to do so.
