This very short, flat BOAT starts life as a gravel driveway at its northern end, jutting south from Lyeway Lane. Once passing the cottage however it reverts to an earthen surface with a grassy centre. Although lined with hedges at no point does the foliage encroach and pose a threat to the precious paintwork, although there were roadworks surrounded by an orange barrier when we drove it. The lane twists 90 degrees left and then right as it follows the field boundary and ends where it meets Charlwood Lane after running for a total of half a kilometre.
