For want of a better name, I've called this byway Withy Lane after the copse to it's north. If anyone knows better please comment below!

Heading downhill from Buckholt Lane just south of Buckholt Farm, this very short greenlane runs westwards on a surface of earth and leaf mould. Lined by hedgerows and mature trees on either side, this lane is pretty tight and damage to the paintwork is guaranteed, especially on the eastern half of the lane. To be honest it's over almost before it's begun, as just as you leave the tarmac you reach it again in the form of North Lane, opposite a sizeable house. There's really not much else to say: this lane is like a thousand others and it's brevity is it's downfall. Go drive something else!

One redeeming feature: for those interested in history, this lane runs parallel with and just to the south of a Roman road, the earthworks for which can still be seen in a very few places.
