One for walkers and cyclists only! This UCR starts as a well-laid farm track, no matter which end you start from. But don't be deceived: we tried to drive it in a westerly direction and found it impossibly overgrown as soon as we emerged from Hayley Copse (pictured below right). From it's western end you could not drive for more than 100m until the foliage closes right in. At it's eastern end there's a great view over to RAF Odiham, where you'd be pretty unlucky if you didn't see a Chinook doing it's stuff!

This lane cannot have seen any use for a couple of years at least. Indeed, you'd be hard pressed to get a pushbike down the middle section. This is a real shame, as with a bit of work it could be a decent drive, if a short one. It's very, very tight indeed, and although it isn't seriously rutted, the undergrowth is guaranteed to put some sizeable scratches, and probably a decent dent, in you car. Avoid until it's been drastically cleared.

An excellent pub, The Poacher, can be found in the picturesque village of South Warnborough. It boasts a decent selection of mainstream beers/lagers, a great beer garden (with swings to entertain kids), and a pool table, for those after such distractions. A great place to stop and unwind after a hard day on the lanes.
