This BOAT is far too overgrown at its northern end to even consider driving.
However, the neolithic camp of Egbury Castle is a little way to the east of this lane, and is worth a quick look for those interested in such things. Also, make sure to drop by The Hare And Hounds pub, just up the road in Charlton Down. It's recently been refurbished and does great beers and better food. Well worth a visit.
