What would be a great (if short) BOAT has been rendered impossible to drive due to the serving of a TRO and the provision of a footbridge suitable only for pedestrians over the River Mole, which is popular with anglers at this point.

River Lane Open Space, a nature reserve, is a great spot for a secluded picnic.

This is why you won't get through!

River Lane is in any case subject to a TRO from TQ149572 south to the south side of 'the Splash' (aka Old Mill Bridge). There used to be a ford and parallel footbridge where just the footbridge is now.
