- To see: not a great deal.
- ALWAYS follow the Greenlane Code!
Closed by TRO, briefly re-opened, and then swiftly re-closed permanently at the end of 2017, this byway (part of the Oxdrove Way) has been lost to us through the idiotic actions of the foolish, ignorant minority. A real shame though, as along with Jennie Green Lane, Bullfield Lane and Rushmoor Lane this used to be a great little network of byways that we called the 'Rushmoor Pond Network'. It's now gated off and is closed to all vehicles.
To Hampshire County Council this is Byway 20 and part of Byway 23, combined here for convenience.

Have just driven this lane, has been locked up until a few weeks ago, all the gates have been opened and TRO signs taken down. Jennie Green lane is the same.
This lane has been re-opened. All the gates were locked until a few weeks ago. TRO signs have now been taken down, jennie Green Lane is also open, not sure about the others in this little network.
Thanks for the update, Jack! We are most grateful. I've updated the post and will now have to drive it as we have never been able to gain access before. Review to follow...
Due to the Special Track brigades insistence on driving lanes when conditions are not suitable this lane is now closed, permanently.
I'm very sorry to hear that. Such short-sighted fools are a blight on society.
